Every aggregate published here — the daily counts, provider shares, DMARC and SPF metrics, the time series in history.json, the JSON API and the CSV exports — is licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International. You may copy, redistribute, adapt and use them commercially, provided you give attribution and link back.

What is not covered

The raw OpenINTEL parquet is not redistributed: it is downloaded into a temporary cache, parsed, and deleted after each run, per the OpenINTEL data agreement. Get it from openintel.nl directly. The domain registry dump contains domain names and observation dates only — no record-level DNS content.

Comparability warning

Absolute counts are not comparable across 2022-08-11, where the underlying list changed from OpenINTEL's alexa source to tranco: the measured populations differ (≈1.6 M apex names against ≈1.1 M). Metric definitions change over time too — every change is recorded in the methodology changelog and stamped into each history point as methodology_version.
