1. Who we are
This service ("Inbox Placement Test", the "Service") is operated by Live Direct Marketing. The Service lets you verify whether email you send lands in the inbox, spam, or promotions folder at major providers.
2. What we collect
When you start a test, we collect:
- The email address you submit (used to rate-limit and associate the test with you).
- Your IP address (used for rate-limiting and abuse prevention).
- For each seed mailbox, the folder placement (inbox, spam, promotions, etc.), the received timestamp, and authentication results parsed from headers (SPF, DKIM, DMARC, spam score).
3. What we do NOT collect
We explicitly do not store:
- Message subjects.
- Sender (From) addresses of the mail you send to our seeds.
- Raw email headers or bodies.
- Any attachments or message content.
Headers are parsed in memory to extract SPF/DKIM/DMARC verdicts and spam score, then discarded. Nothing from the body of your email leaves the seed mailbox.
4. Purpose & legal basis
We process the above data to provide the Service you requested (contractual necessity) and to prevent abuse (legitimate interest). We do not use your data for marketing or share it with third parties for marketing.
5. Retention
Test records (including placement results, SPF/DKIM/DMARC verdicts, and your submitted email) are retained for 7 days and then automatically deleted. Rate-limit counters are retained for up to 24 hours.
6. Your rights
You can:
- Delete your test at any time using the "Delete this test" button on the results page.
- Request deletion, access, or correction of any data we hold about you by emailing privacy@live-direct-marketing.online.
7. Security
Data is stored on encrypted volumes. IMAP credentials for seed mailboxes are encrypted at rest. Traffic is served over HTTPS.
8. Cookies & analytics
The Service uses a session cookie (icp_session) when you sign in to the account portal, and a consent-preference entry in browser storage (cookie_consent) to remember your choice.
Google Analytics 4 is loaded only after you click "Accept" on the cookie banner. We use GA4 with IP anonymisation enabled, and we do not share analytics data with advertising networks. Decline the banner and no analytics cookies are set.
Anti-abuse challenges (Cloudflare Turnstile / hCaptcha) may set their own strictly-necessary cookies.
9. Geographic availability
The Service is not available in certain jurisdictions. Requests from those regions receive an HTTP 451 response.
10. Changes
We may update this policy; the "Last updated" date at the top will change. Material changes will be announced on the homepage.
